Dr Burgiss has been a leader in the field of telehealth for many years. From 1994 to 2005 he directed the University of Tennessee Telehealth Network, providing over 100,000 patient encounters and recently named one of the top programs in the US. Dr Burgiss has contributed over 140 invited lectures, papers and book chapters and been called to testify twice before Congress on Telehealth issues. In 2001 and again in 2001, he received awards from the US government for his efforts in advancing the field of telehealth. Dr Burgiss has served on the Board of the American Telemedicine Association, including time as a member of the Executive Committee. In 2004, he recived the American Telemedince Association President's Award for Leadership, an award given in recognition of his contributions to the development and advancement of telemedicine worldwide. Dr Burgiss received his B.S., M.E.E. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
Dr. Gullberg, a graduate of Northwestern University and the University of Illinois Medical School. Dr Gullberg is board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases and is on staff at All Saints Healthcare in Racine, Wisconsin. He is an instructor and frequent speaker across the country and is a member of many professional societies. Dr Gullberg has served as TouchPointCare's medical advisor since 2003.
Terry is the Director of Healthcare Operations at FR&R Healthcare Consulting, Inc. She specializes in reimbursement, operational and administrative management consulting as well as assistance with HIPAA and compliance plan development. Prior to joining FR&R, Terry worked in a management position for a multi-site home health agency. She is on the Illinois Home Healthcare Council board and consults regularly with their members. In addition, Terry provides educational sessions for state healthcare associations throughout the United States.
John has over 25 years experience in system architecture, product development and marketing in a variety of industries including insurance, banking, brokerage and real estate. John has provided acquisition strategy, strategic planning, new product development, marketing and consulting services on the application of advanced IT architectures and software implementations for Fortune 500 and technology leaders including Gartner, Philip Morris, United Technologies and Aetna. He has also held a number of managerial positions directing IT and Engineering organizations. John holds a BSEE from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
